Why Are You Significant – 10/28/18

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 11:16 – 12:10

Speaker:  Jeff Hill:

In a world where people are longing to feel significant, fame and or power are at the pinnacle of human pursuits.  Saul of Tarsus drank deep from such a well of worldly significance defined by legalistic righteousness and manifest through silencing those who did not conform to his perceptions.  As a renewed convert of Christ’s kingdom, Paul now chooses to embrace his weakness rather that exalt personal strength.  He pours himself out for the kingdom rather than being full of himself before others. Prayerfully consider how you define strength and worth to evaluate if you are living by human or godly standards.  Why are you significant?
