Mortality is persistent. Like the icy blasts of winter, the more we strive to insulate ourselves, one step into its frigid environment we experience its brutality and if there is no shelter, we will not be able to endure for long. The glow of a loving God offers the only escape that welcomes us into His warmth which provides a means to endure through life’s challenges as we trust His promise of a renewed world of eternal springtime. This hope inspires God’s people to let others who are struggling in their own winters of life that God welcomes them into His eternal home if they too will trust in his promises.
