Prayer Requests 8-18-2024

“Prayers don’t need to be long or eloquent, they need only come from a sincere and humble heart.”

Mark & Corrina Orlovsky are placing membership with Southside. We welcome them to the family and are blessed that they have chosen Southside to be their family!

A blessed child and healthy new life has arrived for the Stanger family!
Elora Jubilee Osterbrink was born to Brad and Linda’s daughter, Adrienne and her husband, Joe on Thursday, Aug 15. She is 6 lbs, 12 oz and is 18 in long. Mom and baby are both doing well.

Tom & Rebecca Beeson ask prayers for their daughter, Cheyanna Liles, who will be delivering twin girls by C-section this Wednesday the 21st, which is 6 weeks before her due date. Please lift her, her husband and two children up in prayer as we approach this date. Include prayers for grandma and grandpa as well, as they wait for good news.

William and Elizabethe Izaguirre, new members of our Spanish church, are expecting the arrival of their first child, Josías, Sept 2nd.  Prayers for a healthy delivery.
(Diapers, wipes, and baby essentials are being collected for them. Baskets are set up in the Fellowship Hall to collect donated items or you can give a cash donation to Sarah Borges, Rosio Gamino or Lisa Bane to purchase necessities.)

Lorna Seidner, a past church member, is greatly struggling with her faith and with mental health issues. Mary Brown urges us to lift this sister up in prayer, as she is unable to do so for herself.

Laurie Giombi humbly asks for prayers for her brother, Jay Clark and his wife, Patty. Jay’s cancer is quickly spreading throughout his peritoneal cavity and liver causing him to be in much pain. Food is undesirable to him so he is losing a lot of weight. Laurie and Danny are praying for God’s gentle hand to be on her brother.

Continue to lift those in prayer, who have lost loved ones recently including, Sandra Ferry, the Morrill familyJuanita Hernandez.

Also, continue prayers for those who are facing serious health issues, including the Southside family and/or their loved ones.
