Today is First Sunday First Fruits. Tables are set up in room 4.
Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.
Today, about 5 minutes after the worship, we are planning 15 minutes of prayer in the fellowship room for Southside.
Bruce and Karen Williams have invited us to “close-out” the summer season at their home, any time after 2pm on September 2, 2024. Dinner at 5pm. They are providing the main dish and drinks. Pool will probably be open, for hearty souls. Lawn games and good conversation. Please join us.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for Tuesday at the building at 6:30 p.m. with food provided. Please see Dan Giombi for details.
Rex Butts plans to be here this weekend to look for housing for his family before he moves.
Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying Corinthians. Wednesday evening Bible class is looking at parables. A 6:00 PM Sunday evening Communion and Devotional Service can be requested by Wednesday if needed.

Wisconsin Churches of Christ Reunion and potluck at Jordan Park – West Lodge; Stevens Point; Sept. 7 at 12:30 pm. Plates, utensils, cups and beverages are to be provided.
A WCYC Board Meeting is planned at Southside for Saturday September 14.
Campfire and Singing is being planned at Southside for Friday September 20, 7 pm. (This is a change of date.)

A Biblical Food Fest is being planned for Saturday September 28, 1pm by Club 55 at the building (this is a new date). Margaret Franzen has recipes for people to bring. Sign up is requested.
A Combined Spanish & English Worship is being planned for Sunday September 29 along with Baby Josias Izaguirre blessing and a Joint Potluck after worship.
Our Annual Give Away is being planned for Saturday October 5.
If there is enough interest, we are hoping to have a Trunk or Treat Saturday October 12.
Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night on Friday, October 25, 2024, in the church fellowship hall, beginning at 6pm. Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game. If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share. Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.

“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm, studying the Parables of Jesus. A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.

Diapers, wipes, and baby essentials are being collected for Elizabeth (Spanish group) in the Fellowship Hall, or you can give a cash donation to Sarah Borges, Rosio Gamino or Lisa Bane.)
Allison Morrill is needing helpers for children’s worship.
Mary Brown needs help caring for Lou while she runs errands or cares for her mom.

If you have printer cartridges to recycle, a box has been placed where you can put them and support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services at the same time. Funds are also being raised from “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.
