Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying Corinthians. Wednesday evening Bible class is looking at parables. A 6:00 PM Sunday evening Communion and Devotional Service can be requested by Wednesday if needed.

The Midwest Preachers Retreat at WCYC is planned for September 23-25, all are welcome.
Campfire and Singing is being planned at Southside for Friday September 27, 7 pm. (New date)
The Hampton Ave Ladies are planning a Retreat at the Brookfield Sheraton Hotel, September 27-29. The Women’s Ministry Bulletin Board has details.
A Biblical Food Fest is being planned for Saturday September 28, 1pm by Club 55 at the building. All are invited. Margaret Franzen has recipes for people to bring. Sign up is requested.
A Combined Spanish & English Worship is being planned for Sunday September 29 along with Baby Josias Izaguirre blessing and a Soup and Salad lunch reception after worship. We need a kitchen volunteer team.
Our Annual Give Away is being planned for Saturday October 5.
If there is enough interest, we are hoping to have a Trunk or Treat Saturday October 12. See Kevin if you are interested.
The Waukesha Ladies are planning a Retreat at the Sheridan Brookfield for October 12, 9 am – 4:30 pm. The Women’s Ministry Bulletin Board has details. RSVP is required.
Southside is planning a Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night on Friday, October 25, 2024, in the church fellowship hall, beginning at 6pm. Come to play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game. If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share. Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander with any questions.
The annual Fireside Dinner Theatre outing is planned for Saturday December 7, arrive by 10:30 AM in Fort Atkinson. Cost is $78.95 plus tip per person to see Miracle on 34th Street. See the Miscellaneous bulletin board for sign up and food choices.

Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Class – Thursday’s 10 – 11:15 am
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm, studying the Parables of Jesus. A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.
First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group – 6:30 PM meal followed by study
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.
Opportunities
Toni Bully is asking for donations of Christmas garland to be used to make wreaths. If you would like to help, please bring it to the building and put it in the office with her name.
Diapers, wipes, and baby essentials are being collected for Elizabeth (Spanish group) in the Fellowship Hall, or you can give a cash donation to Sarah Borges, Rosio Gamino or Lisa Bane.)
Allison Morrill is needing helpers for children’s worship.
Mary Brown needs help caring for Lou while she runs errands or cares for her mom.

If you have printer cartridges to recycle, a box has been placed where you can put them and support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services at the same time. Funds are also being raised from “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.

They hold fellowship events, things for other age groups, and service projects that reach out to Milwaukee and beyond. When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events. This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.
If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know. Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
