John 15:1-17; 1 Samuel 18:1-4; Acts 2:42-47
This Sunday begins a new series on “Accountability.”
How would you define “Accountability,” and how important are deep relationships of accountability in your Christian walk? If you don’t currently have accountability and desire it, what steps should be taken?
We’ll discuss this over the course of our series. Several things are needed for accountability to flourish in a congregation, and several dangers need to be acknowledged head on. The ability to get beneath the surface is an important start, and for this to occur one must be united to the true vine and fulfill the commandment of Jesus to love others (see John 15:1-17).
I welcome your prayers for this new series and would also ask that you implore God to help us cultivate deeper relationships.
