2 Timothy 4:6-8
She passed away. He’s no longer with us. We have different expressions to refer to the reality which confronts us all—death. Paul has an interesting take on life and death for Christians. Life is a fight/race (4:7), and death is a “departure” (4:6) to begin a new reality. Our ability to face death with faith is the final test for God’s children.
In this passage, Paul shows us how to live and die faithfully. “To live is Christ and to die is gain.”
