Sunday Bible class is currently studying Corinthians. Wednesday evening Bible class is looking at the parables.
Please pick up a communion pack if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.
Evening Communion and Devotional Service 6:00 PM is planned today.
A Ladies’ Day planning meeting is scheduled after worship today, April 14 in the training room. Please see Sarah Borges for details.
Singing Ministry Practice is planned today after worship.
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is this Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. You may join in person or via a Zoom video link. The theme is “Jesus in the Major Prophets”.
A Men’s Sheepshead and Game Night, is planned this Friday, April 19, in the fellowship hall, 6pm. Play Sheepshead or bring your favorite game. If possible, bring a favorite snack or beverage to share. Contact Brad Stanger or Wayne Alexander for details.
Club 55 is planning “A Ramble thru the Country”, for noon, Saturday, April 20. Please bring a souvenir, photo, or experience about a memorable place you’ve visited or lived and a dish that reminds you of that place. Watch the Club 55 bulletin board for details.
Special Events
A Youth Rally at WCYC is planned from Friday April 26, 7 pm till Sunday April 28, 11:30 am for 7 to 12th grade. Cost is $25. Contact Kayde.johnson@wcyc.org with name, age, gender and food allergies.
Family Art, Craft and Hobby Fair, Sunday May 5 after worship.
The Southside Ladies Day is being planned for Saturday, May 18. 10 am – 2 pm. The theme is, Use Me for Your Glory. See Sarah Borges for details.
The Brentwood Church invites our Women to a Ladies Day Event, May 25, 9:00 am. See the Women’s Ministry Bulletin Board for details.
WCYC is planning a Community Day with tours of the camp and food on Saturday June 1.
Regular Events
An evening Communion and Devotional Service is held each Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 PM.
The Thursday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class is studying each week at 10 am. Please see Peggy Koch or Allison Morrill for details. A Zoom meeting is also planned.
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm. A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up. The current study is on the Parables of Jesus.
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food. Dan Giombi has details.
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May with a Zoom video link. The current theme is “Finding Jesus in the Torah”.

They hold fellowship events, things for other age groups, and service projects that reach out to Milwaukee and beyond. When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events. This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.
If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know. Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
