Today is First Sunday First Fruits. Tables are set up in room 4 for food items.
Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.
We plan to start a sermon series on the Minor Prophets today.
Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying Corinthians. Wednesday evening Bible class is looking at parables.
Family Art, Craft and Hobby Fair, is planned for today after worship in the fellowship room. See Scot Cerka for details.
We are planning a time of prayer today for Southside.
Evening Communion and Devotional Service is canceled today.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for Tuesday at the building at 6:30 p.m. with food provided. Please see Dan Giombi for details.
Our periodic CCLI reporting has started. Any song copies made during the next few months should be reported to Cliff Copass.
Special Events
The Southside Ladies Day is being planned for Saturday, May 18. 10 am – 2 pm. The theme is, Use Me for Your Glory. See Sarah Borges for details.
The Brentwood Church invites our Women to a Ladies Day Event, May 25, 9:00 am. See the Women’s Ministry Bulletin Board for details.
WCYC is planning a Community Day with tours of the camp and food on Saturday June 1.
Singing Ministry practice is planned for August 18 after worship.
Regular Events
An evening Communion and Devotional Service is held each Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 PM.
The Thursday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class is studying each week at 10 am. Please see Peggy Koch or Allison Morrill for details. A Zoom meeting is also planned.
“Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Please see Christine Saunders for details.
Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm. A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up. The current study is on the Parables of Jesus.
A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.
The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food. Dan Giombi has details.
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May with a Zoom video link. The current theme is “Finding Jesus in the Torah”.

There’s a special group of people here at Southside that are ages 55 and older, called Club 55. They hold fellowship events, things for other age groups, and service projects that reach out to Milwaukee and beyond. Reminders
When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events. This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.
If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know. Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
