Sunday morning Bible class is currently studying Corinthians.  Wednesday evening Bible class is looking at parables.  A 6:00 PM Sunday evening Communion and Devotional Service can be requested by Wednesday if needed.

If you are ill or have had recent contact with someone who is ill, please stay home.

Please pick up a communion pack when coming into the auditorium if you will be joining with the Lord’s Supper.

The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:30 a.m. October through May with a Zoom video link.

The Brentwood Church invites our Women to a Ladies Day Event, May 25, 9:00 am.  See the Women’s Ministry Bulletin Board for details.

Special Events

Monday May 27, 1:00 p.m. to evening, Bruce and Karen Williams are planning an open yard and pool fellowship at their home at S66 W28406 River Rd. Waukesha, WI 53189.  Sandwiches and drinks will be provided.  Bring a dish to pass if you like.  Please let them know if you plan on joining. Rain or shine.

WCYC is planning a Community Day with tours of the camp and food on Saturday June 1.

A visit to the domes, open to everyone is being planned by Club 55 for Sunday June 9 after worship.  A naturalist tour is planned.  Linda Stanger is collecting for admission.  Bring your lunch.  Beverage and dessert are to be provided.  Please sign up at the club 55 bulletin board if you plan to attend.

Regular Events

The Sunday evening Communion and Devotional Service is being put on hold until further notice. If there is sufficient interest in continuing, the plan will be revisited in the fall. If you are interested in taking communion and aren’t able to attend the morning worship, speak to Kevin Morrill.

The Thursday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class is wrapping up May 23 for the summer.

Color More Worry Less” is planned Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.  Please see Christine Saunders for details.

Mid-week study at the building, Wednesday, 7 pm.  A Zoom virtual meeting is also set up.

A time of prayer is planned for the second Tuesday of each month at the building, 7:00 p.m., and after morning worship on the first Sunday of each month.

The First Tuesday Men’s Fellowship and Study Group is planned for the first Tuesday of each month (Sept.-June), 6:30 pm, at the building with food.  Dan Giombi has details.

The Waukesha Church is planning a four-day literacy/VBS program, ages 6-9, July 29-August 1, 10 AM-3 PM, and are looking for licensed educators who can commit to help as well as other volunteers.  Contact Katie Green, 262-309-8766, or see https://asaturdayeveningpost.com/?p=1301.

If you have printer cartridges to recycle, a box has been placed where you can put them and support Schultz Lewis Child and Family Services at the same time.  Funds are also being raised from “Box Top$ for Education” products when purchased and you scan your receipt with your smart phone using the Box Tops mobile app.

Reminders

When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events.  This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.

If you know someone who is getting married or having a baby, please let Sarah Borges, Lisa Bane (English/Spanish), or Rosio Gamino (English/Spanish) know.  Southside arranges a gift for first-time couples who are members of the Church and for the first child of members of the Church.
