Featured Speaker: Gary Holloway
The
Midwest Preachers' Retreat is one of the largest annual gatherings of
gospel preachers in the Upper Midwest. About 100 from a dozen states
attend annually. Dr.
Gary Holloway, Associate Director of the Center for Spiritual Renewal
at Lipscomb University, will be the featured speaker. His five
presentations will be on the theme "God At Work" in which he
will deal with the way that God works with us through such matters as
Scripture and Restoration. Other speakers will complete the program.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RETREAT
What
is the retreat? The retreat began in 1964 to provide preachers in
the Upper Midwest an opportunity for in-depth biblical study and to
recharge their spiritual batteries. All sessions are in an atmosphere
of informality and open discussion. Time is provided for recreation
and relaxation. Dress is casual.
Who can attend?
Preachers and other church leaders are urged to come. Wives are
welcome and many attend each year. Any person who feels he can benefit
is invited.
What is the cost? $70.00 for the entire session or $110.00 per
couple. Cost is pro-rated by sessions for those attending part time.
Where is Fallhall Glenn? It is the site of Wisconsin Christian
Youth Camp, seven miles south of Black River Falls in west-central
Wisconsin. It is close to I-94.
How can I help make this a success? Come yourself and bring
others. Reservations can be made at any time with at $5 fee. Mail to

What
should I bring? Bring sleeping bags or bedding and flashlight.
Bring a warm jacket. Dress is casual. Information about motels is
available on request.
How
do I get there?
From the north go seven miles south out of Black River Falls on 27.
Turn right at sign for 1/2 mile. From
southeast turn left off 1-94 at Millston on County "0” for ten miles
to 27. Turn right for one mile, then left on Fallhall Rd. From south
go north out of Sparta on 27.

atmosphere of informality and free discussion. Housing will be
provided for individuals and couples in cabins or the lodge. Campers
and tents may be used. Those who bring campers/Vans should let us
know. There are motels in Black River Falls, but there is no
discount for those staying in motels. We can provide information
