Prayer Requests 9-6-18

Roger Young had a procedure this week at St. Luke’s to insert two stints.
Patty Young had cataract surgery last week and has developed an infection in her eye.
Please keep Roger and Patty in your prayers as he recover.

Marie Coffey reports: “My Mom is cancer-free; however, she is planning a hysterectomy on September 13.

Arneetrice Ellerman’s grandson, Josiah, has expressed a desire to be baptized into the body of Christ.

Juan Santana says, “Thank you for keeping my sister in your prayers. She can still use them for her and also her husband Alton.”

Elizabeth Dickson is thankful for her Christian employer.

Prayers are requested for Rodney Maybin for travels to Wisconsin Rapids for an Administrative assignment in a nursing home.

Toni Bully’s friend from California, Denise, is battling cancer and shingles.

Aida Cucuig, girlfriend of Mary Anguiano’s grandson Ajay, writes: My daughter Myra is being treated for breast cancer. Please pray for my son Joaquin.  He is going through bad times.

Maria Guerra is recovering from surgery, and her sister in Mexico passed away recently.

Shirley Arnott is home after being in the hospital due to a fall.

Please pray for Kay Hruska and their family in the death of her husband, Harold.  The funeral was August 23.

The Wainscotts ask prayers for safe travel for Joan.  They also pray for God’s strength and guidance for neighbors, Joy and Lloyd, as they struggle with Lloyd’s worsening Parkinson’s disease.

Virginia Rose McCotry wrote: “Thank you for all of the congratulations and well wishes.  And a huge thank you for the beautiful cards and words of encouragement I received in the mail.  Truly inspiring!”  Virginia was recently baptized.

Jim and Lori Nichols friend Kathy Gnat, passed away.  Please pray for the family.

Juanita Hernandez asks prayers for Bella that He will see her through all her issues and bring her out safe and away from danger.

Rodney and Andrea Maybin ask that we pray for their cousin Theresa, who had surgery to remove a mass from her colon.

Wayne and Jan Alexander request prayer for strength and clarity.  “We covet your continued prayers as we move forward to renew and heal our relationship.  It is only with this support, God’s grace, and putting on the full armor of God {Eph 6:10-18} that we can stand firm and continue on this journey.”

GayLynn Milkert requests: Please pray for our college-bound children as they head off.  Pray that God will guide them in this new experience; and please pray for uncle Danny Loesch, the preacher at the Church of Christ in High Ridge, MO.  He has been diagnosed with degenerative bone disease.

Karen and Mark Van Handel ask that we pray for our country to have a spiritual awakening, including His guidance and wisdom in the upcoming elections.
