Our world is inundated with the desire to “make a name”, leave a legacy to be honored. The tower of Babel was about legacy making and self proclaimed glory, “look as us”. Godly glory is about a being’s character that exudes actions that causes others to honor and glorify. Unlike fallen humanity, the character of God goes out of his way to share his glory and exult those who are like him, seek to good in and for others.
