Living in light of our earthly circumstance: with one hand we hold out our strengths for all the world to see while the other hand slips behind our back holding real and/or perceived weaknesses. We need to give up our need for this sleight of hand that denies the reality that we are works in progress growing toward maturity. God is not fooled, He knows that without Him we hide weakness to protect from the judgement of others, In entrusting to God both strength and weakness, His glory can be demonstrated. Lift up both hands to the glory of God while resisting human judgements and witness what He can do.
