During times of happiness, we want to draw out every ounce of enjoyment. We desire to soak in the sights, smells and sensations so they linger long even as seasons of sadness and sorrow increasingly seek to steal them away. Where do you turn when loses begin to outnumber gains, and when you feel like you are sinking beneath life’s troublesome torrent? Is that which you trust able to draw you out of the chaos?
