Club 55 is planning a walking tour of Historic Downtown Milwaukee from inside the skywalk on May 6. This is wheel chair accessible.
The annual Mother and Daughter Banquet is planned for May 12.
Sandie Copass is organizing a group outing to the Fireside Theatre for December 9. Cost is $67.95 per person and includes dinner. A sign-up sheet is to be posted outside the coat room for those who wish to attend. After signing up, please see Sandie to make your down payment.
Juan Santana is offering a stretching and strength training class every Monday at 6:00 p.m. for about an hour. You will need comfortable clothes and a mat.
The weekly Ladies’ Bible Class meets on Thursdays at the building starting at 10:00 a.m. looking at the book of Nehemiah.
A 6:00 a.m. Tuesday early morning Weekly Men’s Study is scheduled at the Church building.
A monthly womens’ study and fellowship is planned for the second Thursday of the month, 6:30 p.m. at the building. The current course is titled “Before Amen” by Max Lucado to help us with prayer.
The Christian Workers’ Meeting is planned for the third Tuesday of each month, 9:00 a.m.
Juanita Hernandez is looking for a desk and chest of drawers or dresser. If anyone is able to help with them please call her after 3:30 p.m.
Mike Meyer and his wife Lynn Scott would like to hire a person from Southside, age 15 or higher, to help Lynn with household tasks 1 or 2 times a week (i.e. cleaning, gardening, etc.). This would be at 13th Street and Armour, one block north of Layton. Please call if you are interested.
The children’s ministry is in need of teachers, assistants and subs. A strong and well supported Children’s ministry is vital to the health of any church, so please consider helping. No previous experience is necessary. If interested, talk to Kevin Morrill or Ken Koch. The “Hands on Bible” curriculum has been working well.
We have an attended nursery for small children during morning worship periods in room 2. We also have a training room at the rear of the auditorium where parents can stay with their little ones while worshiping.
A children’s worship is scheduled to begin near the start of the worship lesson time. Children’s Worship is intended to provide a time of worship for children age 3 thru Grade 3 and to encourage families with children. Everyone is asked to begin worship in the auditorium (adults and children). Parents should accompany their smaller children to the basement as well as children who have not attended before. Before you return upstairs, be sure to indicate to the people at the door if you would prefer us to keep your young person till you return to get them or if it is alright to let them go after the adult worship is dismissed.

Ron Koepke’s 9 month old great-niece, Olivia, is planning open-heart surgery April 13. Prayers are requested for her, her parents, and for the doctors who are performing the surgery.
