Children’s Worship today plans to have a Resurrection Egg Hunt. Resurrection Eggs contain figures related to the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus. As each egg is opened the figure inside is discussed and scriptures are shared to help explain each piece.

Club 55 is planning a walking tour of Historic Downtown Milwaukee from inside the skywalk on May 6. This is wheel chair accessible.
“Once Upon an Apron” is the theme for this years annual Mother and Daughter Banquet which is May 12 beginning at 6:00 P.M. All women are invited.

Juan Santana is offering a stretching and strength training class every Monday (Sept – April) at 6:00 p.m. for about an hour. You will need comfortable clothes and a mat.
A monthly womens’ study and fellowship is planned for the second Thursday of the month, 6:30 p.m. at the building. The current course is titled “Before Amen” by Max Lucado to help us with our prayer life.
The weekly Ladies’ Bible Class meets on Thursdays at the building starting at 10:00 a.m. looking at the book of Nehemiah.
A 6:00 a.m. Tuesday early morning Weekly Men’s Study is scheduled at the Church building.
A men’s study series is planned for the first Tuesday of each month at the building at 6:30 p.m. for a meal preceding the study. Please see Dan Giombi for details.

Mike Meyer and his wife Lynn Scott would like to hire a person from Southside, age 15 or older, to help Lynn with household tasks 1 or 2 times a week (i.e. cleaning, gardening, etc.). They live near 13th Street and Armour, one block north of Layton. Please call if you are interested.
The children’s ministry is in need of teachers, assistants and subs. A strong and well supported Children’s ministry is vital to the health of any church, so please consider helping. No previous experience is necessary. If interested, talk to Kevin Morrill or Ken Koch. The “Hands on Bible” curriculum has been working well.
Help is needed with leading Children’s Worship. Several children ages 3 – 3rd grade are dismissed after communion to enjoy a child-friendly worship downstairs. The worship includes singing, prayer, lesson, and application via various games and simple crafts. Each worship is co-lead by a team of 2 adults. If you would like to help with this serving opportunity or learn more about it, please contact Kevin Morrill.
Volunteer drivers are needed for the non-profit “Muskego Senior Taxi Service” during the week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call 262-679-4754 if you are interested.
We have an attended nursery for small children during morning worship periods in room 2. We also have a training room at the rear of the auditorium where parents can stay with their little ones while worshiping.
A children’s worship is scheduled to begin near the start of the worship lesson time. Children’s Worship is intended to provide a time of worship for children age 3 thru Grade 3 and to encourage families with children. Everyone is asked to begin worship in the auditorium (adults and children). Parents should accompany their smaller children to the basement as well as children who have not attended before. Before you return upstairs, be sure to indicate to the people at the door if you would prefer us to keep your young person till you return to get them or if it is alright to let them go after the adult worship is dismissed.

The funeral for Bill Bivens was April 15. He is survived by wife Vilma, children Ariana and Robert, brothers Robert, and Thomas, sisters Lori, and Ruby, as well as nieces and nephews.
Mary and Lou Brown’s brother-in-law’s brother has bone cancer.
Juanita Hernandez reports that her brother-in-law Bud Masters is out of the hospital and is doing well. She is thankful for the prayers for him. Juanita also requests prayers for her co-worker, Mr. Rutledge, who fell and broke his leg requiring a pin put in his leg.
Ron Koepke’s 9 month old great-niece, Olivia, was planning open-heart surgery April 13. Prayers are requested for her, and her parents.
The Maybin’s ask for prayers for safe travel for Rodney as he commutes to Dodgeville, WI for a monthly Healthcare assignment.
