To assist with fellowship time, we will have a lunch after worship every other month starting today, with a sandwich lunch.  Please plan to enjoy a little time together.  No evening service is planned today.

A meeting for people interested in the children’s ministry is planned.  A new curriculum is to be presented during the fellowship time.  We are in need of teachers, assistants and subs.  A strong and well supported Children’s ministry is vital to the health of any church, so please consider helping.  No previous experience is necessary.  If interested, talk to Kevin Morrill.

Library Book Review

Would you like to improve your knowledge of the Bible with quick and easy study sessions?  Check out The Bible Made Easy in our Bible Study section.  Cover two short pages per day and get an overview of the entire Bible in one month.  This book outlines highlights of the Old and New Testament, Bible wisdom, Jesus in the Old Testament and in the Psalms, the 10 names of God and much more.  The fold-out “Birds Eye View of Bible History” is a great visual of the entire Bible.

An organization in the greater Milwaukee is collecting feminine hygiene products for women in area homeless shelters.  A donation box is in the foyer.

Jim Nichols brother Dan is looking for a place to stay that is shared with another person.

Volunteers to help count the contribution after morning service are needed.  Please contact Louie Hill if you are interested.

We have an attended nursery for small children during morning worship periods in room 2.  We also have a training room at the rear of the auditorium where parents can stay with their little ones while worshipping.

A children’s worship is scheduled to begin near the start of the worship lesson time.  Children’s Worship is intended to provide a time of worship for children age 3 thru Grade 3 and to encourage families with children.  Everyone is asked to begin worship in the auditorium (adults and children).  Parents should accompany their smaller children to the basement as well as children who have not attended before.  Before you return upstairs, be sure to indicate to the people at the door if you would prefer us to keep your young person till you return to get them or if it is alright to let them go after the adult worship is dismissed.

Free CD’s of the Sunday morning sermons are available from Joel Ribar.  Be sure to specify the date desired.  MP3 copies of sermons are also available at the church web site.

The Library is open after classes and the worship period.  Don’t forget to return any overdue books to the library.  There is a book return box located in the entry way next to the picture board.

If you have wonderful news to share about a newly engaged couple or an expectant mother, etc., please let Brenda Kosobucki know so they can plan a shower for them.

When planning events, don’t forget to check the calendar in the back hallway by room 9 for conflicts and enter your own events.  This is for events that involve use of the building and/or for a majority of the congregation.
